Before you get too excited, that isn't even a 1% profit margin. Compare that t0 Qualcomm's 35% profit margin. In otherwords, out of a revenue of 50 billion, one would hope for a better return on their investment.

How did this thread become a freaking "mine is bigger than yours"????? Wow... I posted the 2nd Qt results so that everyone can compare and make an educated move should they want to work for UPS. I have plenty of buddies on this board and I know they'd be interested in this info. And a lot of them don't check the cargo forum. For you d!ckheads that can't understand that, don't click on the thread that doesn't interest you. Yes it's that simple.....you guys are like the guard frequency nazi's.

Cessnapilot.....

Thanks for the education in finance, but I'll take a positive number rather than a negative number ANYTIME. I don't care how big or small the profit.... it's still a profit.

I'm at brown... and I'm also very happy to see a positive number. My point is that a positive number doesn't protect you or guarantee keeping the status quo.

Believe me, five airlines later, I'm happy to be here. I'm not trying to educate anyone, only making a contribution with a post... and I don't think anyone is trying to say who's is bigger than who's. chill out.

5 Airlines eeehhh? 9th Uniform here and I feel your pain brother. Trust me.... I am divesting like crazy cause I don't trust anyone or any company thats involved in this fu(ked up industry. I just hope this part of the roller coaster ride lasts for another 5 years before these box heads start threatening about the furloughs.

I was not referring to your post about whose airline is bigger......chill you say? You can't get anymore chill then I am... after uniform #5 it all just went numb. I just don't care anymore :pimp:.
