upgrade times?

Just wondering what most regional carriers upgrade from FO to Capt are? say for instance you went to Air Wis as an FO with 1100TT and 800 is PIC on a C-172 from instructing...what time would you typically expect to wait for the upgrade? Thanks

Until your seniority number is up. Depends on attrition, growth, industry, and a lot of other factors. That number could change from day to day!

Doesn't matter if you were hired with 300 hrs. or 5000 hrs. It's all about that seniority number as someone else has already said. That's precisely why the industry seems to be tanking because there are those that would do anything - and pay anything - to get a seniority number at a young age.

Just have ATP mins by the time your number is called and you'll upgrade.
