Yep, They're out in Omaha, everytime we've parked next to UP's hangar, I've always seen only a 800XP, and Challenger type over the years...

Railroad...

Maybe not the UP, but have you seen the livery of NS?

I'm a railroader by heart...if there are any of you guys out there?!?!

One of my former employers purchased a LR-35 and I was always tickled to fly "NW" due to my previous endeavors......

And, in case you are wondering....I can talk the railroad talk w/ ANY of you!!!

Rail

bob,
If you're interested, Strassburg Railroad in PA had an apprenticeship program for people interested in working their live steam road. I almost did it in 86. You start as a fireman and work up to engineer.
I've heard that Norfolk and Southern is difficult to work for. There are several adds in the local paper for conductors for N&S.

They have a 800xp soon to turn into 2 challanger 300's, falcon 2000, and a 601. hanger next door to con agra. Seems like a good place to work from what I have been hearing.

Hi!

My dad said that the UP has about the worst management in the business. The Southern used to be by far the best, so I'd assume that Norfolk-Southern is still very good.
