unusual observations in dom. repub.

these are some sights from a recent trip to the dom. repub.;

1) I go into the Burger King in the airport terminal and see a full size mig 21 painted on one wall.

2)in santo domingo i came across the communist pary building.

3)there was a russian passenger jet with the t-tail and four engines on the tail

it wasn't my everyday experience - for a brief second, i felt like james bond

Try spending a couple days in Communist China... now THAT is an eye-opener!

We went to the Dominican Republic about 1 yr ago. It was cool. We stayed at a golfing resort, can't remember the name. We did venture out into the town for about .5 hrs. I have never seen so many people trying to kill themslves on scooters in my life! We knew we were out of the good ole USA.

Looked up where we stayed. We landed at La Romana airport, and stayed at Casa de Campo. No one said this job would be easy. But, someone had to do it!!
