$150 million a year in revenue lost. Did Jack Brace figured this possible contingency into his reorganization plan along with the estimated $50bbl oil?

$750 million over the 5 years of ineligibility is a lot of cash they can not afford to lose right now. Management is probably thinking the pilots can tolerate another round of concessions to make up the difference.

The article just said that they get about $150 million a year for all their mail carrying, but it also said that they are only losing the domestic mail- not the international mail that is the majority of their mail carrying. They will definitely lose a hunch of change, but not the full 150 according to that article.
 
It's not a bad thing. The demands and requirements from the postal service are becoming so demanding that several air carriers are thinking of dropping the contract. They can make almost as much money pursueing other easier cargo with fewer restraints and requirements.
