Honestly this is probably one of the only places I would go to if I were living back in the Tulsa area. Good clean planes, but on call alot. Seem to hire a range of low time pilots to retired airline guys.

Nothing but good things to say. And they have an open door...so go visit for yourself.

Peace!

I know a couple of the previous GV guys were lower time ex-mil guys. The owner is a pilot and flys the line. Ton of money so security is not an issue.

I talked to them years back and didnt like the fact that you have no set days off. Wasen't ready to go from 121 back to 135, so I didn't. Other than that, they seem to have a very nice outfit with some very nice airplanes.

What's the definition of low time pilots in regards to this operation? Remember?

WEll I think that they prefer some kind of turbine time. Our flight instructor got hired with 2200 total, 500 or so turbine and 700-800 multi

hope it helps

Not sure, I will ask around and see if I can come up with an answer to that. They certainly have great aircraft and a very nice facility and tons of money in the bank, there is no presure to make any money there, this is a hobby for the boss, I think cement is where he made the fortune.

Cement is where he made it. You've heard the pros, now for some cons:

The boss can be a tough man to work for, no set time on off, low pay, training contracts.....

Stay away from US Aviation, and Tulsa,Ok. There are an abundance of laid off pilots and retired chief pilots that saturate the market in Tulsa.
This is probably true in other parts of the country, but Tulsa was hit hard with energy and telecommunication company cut backs.

aircraft addition....

Heard through the grapvine that they acquired or modified a Falcon 20-5 with a proline 4 cockpit. Began flying it a week or so ago, just rumors, but may be a lead for a FA-20 driver.

Actually to set the record straight, the Falcon 20-5 has been on the property over a year now. We also have a LR 31, 45, and G-4, and G550. Owner is a good man to work for if you do not need any babysitting. There is tons of money here so job stability couldnt be any better. Lifestyle varies from long mind-numbing international trips to several of the pilots keep their golf clubs in the airplane at all times. Money is not bad for Tulsa, keeping in mind that it is cheap to live here. I have been here 2 years and every year have received a hefty bonus from the boss for a job well done.
All in all, not a bad place to be considering.
Good luck to all in your future endeavors.

They recently had a Managed Falcon 2000 move to another FBO.
The last few years several managed aircraft have moved away and started there own flight dept.

As for aircraft moving away, yes a Falcon 2000 did move, but in the world of aircraft management, that happens on a daily basis. Has nothing to do with the nature of the thread as for how United States Aviation is to work for! Simply business as usual and nothing has changed. Just one less plane and another two on the way.

Hey cappydd good to see ya on here
we close on feb 28 you will have to come up and see the place and I will put you to work Ha.....

Aircraft is now managed by Flightworks out of RYY. Not to defend US Aviation, however, Flightworks is always agressively seeking aircraft to add to their fleet. I think someone posted on here before to watch out for FW.....they will steal the management contract.

US Aviation is not seeking pilots right now. We just hired three Lear 45 pilots and a GIV pilot. We tend to use Climbto350.com to send an ad out when we are hiring but we always welcome resumes and keep them on file.
4,000 hours total and 3,000 hours PIC ....
