This is a thank you to the non rever in First on United ORD-PHL on T giving eve flight.
Either retired or active UAL pilot and his family..at least I think pilot, looked like uniform pants.
Flight is delayed 25 min due to broken hinge on Airbus 319 overhead in first, since his steamer trunk on wheels broke the door as he tried to force it shut.
After mechanic replaced hinge with new one (Plastic) same guy, attempts to close same bin the same way, forcing it.
After a couple minutes of trying to shuffle other bags around, he finally checks bag.
I'm certain all of the passengers and crew thank you!

Why are you blaming the pilot? You know good and well it is his wife's fault for packing too much crap. If he was traveling with his girlfriend, she would have had a bag big enough for a swimsuit.
