What types of aircraft does the United Nations use most often? How should someone apply for a pilot position with the UN? Thank you.

NGO's

The United Nations contract all their work to NGO's or air carrier's. Contact Air Serve International in Redlands, CA if you are interested in this kind of work.

The white C-130's you see with UN on the side are typically operated by Transafrik out of Luanda, Angola. They are the largest herc operator in the world.
