Hi There,

I'm just wondering if a United guy can tell me the longevity of the most junior pilot still flying. Best of luck to all the furloughs.

Thanks

Depends, some guys were furloughed the first time for 2-3 yrs and did not get furloughed a second time. Figure the most Jr is a 1999 hire, so probably 7+ yrs.

Voluntary furloughs will be taken out of the intial SLI computation and then inputed back below the person who was senior to them on their prior senority list. How have you been reddog, still living in PVB? I transferred out to guam a few years ago, pretty nice out here.

how will the voluntary furlough be treated since I know 1 guy personally who took it?

My guess is that a voluntary furlough who still has pilots jr to him on the property will probably be treated as if they are on a leave of absence. The guys jr to them at UAL will always be jr to them.
