United Junior Captain

Could someone give me an idea of the most junior Captain at United right now...and how many years to upgrade as a new hire...no bashing please...leave 65 thing out..I know it will ad 5. Also how many military folks are on the seniority list but on leave, out of the 8300 pilots.

That's a difficult question to answer since it depends on so many things and how the airline is doing year to year.

The answer can change every 6 months but it depends on what equipment you are willing to fly and where you are willing to be based. Factor in the company's financial health in being able to expand routes which can affect hiring (and therefore affect how fast you can move up).
