The problem with this case is he is not convicted with anything but keeping his mouth shut. Now we have established that knowing about stuff and not telling is a crime. All that is left now is for the inevitable "creep" downward.

Is it really a stretch? Ten years from now "You saw him in a bar, intoxicated, yet you did not notify the authorities. 6 hours later he crashed his car into another vehicle killing the occupants. YOU are also responsible because you kept your mouth shut.




And how is this guy not an "enemy combatant"/ in Gitmo? Maybe because he wold be waiting for trial forever there? The Bush administration loves to pick and choose, don't they?
