Saw a CR7 at Signature in MSP painted in United Express colors that had a Canadian registration on it. Was is possibly a delivery? Just seemed wierd having a C registration on it.

The airplanes have to have a registration number on it in order to do the flight test's on it. Once it's delivered, it's switched to a US number.

While the airplanes are still in the flight testing process, the factory pilots fly between YMX and TUS. That's why it still has a canadia registration.

there are many examples of foreign registered aircraft in the fleets of US air carriers. Perfectly legit
