What gives with these people? I talked to the Chief Pilot a couple of months ago and he all but hired me on the phone (he noted I was the only guy with experience in the airplane not to mention the only one typed in it). Now several weeks have gone by and no phone calls, no email messages, nothing. I have called, faxed, emailed him multiple times trying to get a final answer and NOTHING.

I don't want to send resumes around to everyone in case this goes through, but I'm beginning to think they're giving me the "Heisman".

Are these people busy or just rude? The secretary said they are still hiring for the Embraer and have hired a handful of folks already. Why am I not getting a call here? Am I being too impatient? It's rather annoying, either way, I must admit.

You don't happen to be Skull-One do you? If so, we emailed you several times, and the emails were blocked. (I know because I personally sent 2 of them to you from the office). As for this statement

, I made at least two dozen calls to guys typed in it with a significant amount of time in type. So, I don't know where that came from.

As for if we're busy or rude, we tried to email you a few times, and yes, we're extremely busy. My contract is done, the other CA is back in the US for recurrent, leaving the chief pilot to try and answer any of the 300 or so resumes we got, run the office, and fly everyday. So, give him a break. And, do what the rest of us do, and keep your stuff out everywhere. Go the first place that calls. Duh.....

Gee, how polite. At least I finally got some sort of answer. I'm not sure if that was a "Yes" or a "No" though.

All I know is that the Chief Pilot said I was the only guy he had spoken to with a type. "I have a lot of guys with time in jets, but none in the Embraer." I thought that made me a slam dunk to get the job. Here we are two months later and nothing. Not a single phone call, no email messages--nothing. I just find it kind of odd. They must not want to hire very many people.

Pardon me, I'm not on here much so I do not catch the Skull One reference.
