Have a buddy that he has heard that Skywest is getting the 175s from united just wonder how much they paid to get them? Looks like the marriage between Republic and United might be coming to and end? Just wondering
Well, that sounds very reliable.
The UAL - 175's are coming to Mesa.
Winner.I heard Embry Riddle won the bid and it will be flown by brand new commercial cert pilots cause the FAA gave them a waiver so they don't need an ATP cause they went to riddle...
I heard that Delta pilot wives would fly them
I heard that Delta pilot EX-wives would fly them
With any luck there won't be enough pilots to fly them in a few years and the legacy carriers will regret having a strategy that relies on subcontracting out so much lift.
Welcome to Fantasy Island!!
It never hurts to dream, we will see what happens. I've seen periods in the industry where the pilot supply got pretty tight at the regionals and that was before the 1500 hour requirement. Had that reg been in place during those periods there would have been planes parked for lack of crews. Given what we have been through in the last ten years it seems impossible but things are slowly changing and the job market for pilots should look very different in a few years. We will just have to see.
I heard Silver Wings won the bid.
funny as heck the LXJT turds thought they'd be getting those planes and at their recently agreement of lower wages, turds how's that working out for ya
As smart as Im sure you are an arbitration award has nothing to do with an agreement. Nice try though.
