GoJet was NOT created to get around TSA CBA.

That may not be what management is saying, it's just a nice (for them) side effect.

And cargojunkie, the way things are going with the majors there may not be anything to step up to (and you have no idea how much I hope I'm wrong with that statement). And just because it's a stepping stone doesn't mean that while we're here we can't work to make it a better one.

JackFlyer, did I see someone mention that you work for Comair? If so, why is your argument so pro alter ego? Scope clause or not, this is indeed an alter ego that in the end is going to be used to further drive down this industry for YOU and ME!

As I've stated in the past, anything can be deemed legal per the law as long as the lawyer is smart enough to find the loophole. Does that make it ethical however? Will it stop it from driving down pilot wages? I think not.

If you indeed work at Comair, you should be one of the strongest most dedicated opposers to an alter ego. Comair happens to have one of the best Regional contracts right now. And airlines as such, are the ones that Gojet will eventually come after. Ask the boys at Air Whisky and see what happened.

Anyone who has enough interest in GoJet to argue in their favor like JackassFlyer has on these forums has to work for them.

Well, the black and white proves my point. GoJet was created to get around the APA SCOPE so that they could fly 70-90 seat jets FOR UAL. GoJet was NOT created to get around TSA CBA.

BTW 210FR8DOG....this is a public forum. Everyone has the right to their opion. I have never once threaten anyone, nor do the vast majority of the people here. I would call a doctor if I were you.... PAXIL might be what you need.

Your a total freakin' moron!!! If Blowjet was NOT created to get around the TSA CBA then why wouldn't they:

1) Offer to use pilots from TSA seniority like they are using EVERY other TSA employee for all departments at Blowjets.

2) at the very least, guarantee 10 days off for res. and 11 for lineholders, block or better, and industry AVERAGE pay for the 70 seaters

per our current CBA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it's all in there!! Would you like me to print the whole freakin' thing!! Give me a case of PAXIL, and a bottle of anything.....................to go!!!!!

Not sure, how productive it is to sling the term ' scab ' around on a pro-pilot forum, most if not all of you regional cats don't know your history when you spout off your pro-union cr@p, stow that sh!t 210fr8dog and hope you never NEVER get to meet a real one, till then, send us a linky to the full contract, I'm interested in seeing Hulas's legal justification for skirting y'alls agreement, or, head down to KC one weekend, we'll go sink a few and you can explain it to me then.

Cheers

TIGV meet a real one what? Professional pilot? There are a lot of them here at TSA, former TWA guys. Guys that have been around the block once or twice. I'm not sure thats even what you meant.

Anyway go to the TSA interview post and look where livindadream and I posted section 1 paragraphs B and C. that covers it.

Regardless of legality, the morality of this whole issue is crap. Lets use any industry you want for an example. Say Fed Ex package delivery.

Anyone wanting to work for Fed Ex will get 10$ an hour and 3 day weekends and overtime past 40 hours(all hypothetical). OK, great deal, count me in.

Hey guess what, now we have Fed Ex Holdings who is gonna work for 8$ an hour, 2 day weekends and no overtime at all. Hmmmmm. So Fed Ex Holdings gets all the new business since the cost is cheaper.

Later......Hey Fed Ex Holdings, now we have Fed Ex Holdings Inc. LLC who will work for 6$ an hour, 1 day weekends and of course no overtime.

Doesn't everyone see the pattern here? People like JackA$$ are accelerating the race to the bottom by supporting the first and vital step in the whipsaw war. Freedom and Republic were defeated. Ours is the next battlefront to keep this profession respectable. Will we win? Only time will tell.

I did not want to hear 210FR8DOG bitch in explicit and fragmented sentences that can not be followed.... but with the talk of SCABs this needed to be posted: (I hated to bumped this thread)

NOW THIS IS A SCAB. True by the definition SCAB! This is REAL UNION BUSTING.....

I agree. In the name of God's Holy Trousers, who the heck would want to make $15,000 a year to go through the kind of poo-poo they'll have to wade through on a daily basis if the NWA ladies strike? Ouch.

Well this is a fine tale but I think you left out the obvious. When Fed Ex holdings and Fed Ex Holding LLC came along with their offers more and more people said I can do better elsewhere. The market conditions then forced those two buisness entities to up their pay and benefits to be competitive to attract enough workers to their companies. GoJet will face the same issues. If they don't offer a competitive product then no one will come. So your race to the bottom assumes no one has choices in this country when in fact we all do and we all will in the future.

This is well put. Eventually the supply and demand of wages and other compensation will reach stasis.

There will never a a large supply of pilots willing to work for minimum wage, no matter what anyone says. There will always be a few, but they will not be willing to do it for long.

The continuation of the decreases in compensation is the direct result of those in the pilot profession who failed to successfully pull the ladder up after themselves.

Think of it this way: Just because you have a pension that you are counting on, doesn't it make sense to put some money away in a case the pension disappears? You bet it's smart.

Think of ALPA national now - just because we have all of theses contracts and scope that are supposed to protect pilots groups, is it not stupid to be relying on these alone?

I think ALPA should have been far more interested in preventing just anyone from being an "airline pilot" (think gulfstream "academy").

If a guild had been formed, or a REAL national union, we would be in much better shape now. As it is, we are pretty much screwed.

Ther is no real unity in the profession as a whole. Individual pilot groups, for sure can have unity, but the national picture is fractured and very tribal in character. We are reaping the rewards of a profound lack of national unity.

its a stepping stone get over it. It's all a stepping stone.

A stepping stone to what? You have not been doing this long, have you? Can't you see the "regional" jets are getting bigger and biiiigggeer?

FuelFlow

Hows GoJets ground school going for you and your buddies on this thread?

Still wearing your id backwards. Little ashamed? I would be too.

How long do you think Trans States mgt will give you passes so you can slither in the back of our jets instead of trying to jumpseat? Ohh yea when the flights are full I guess youll be stuck.

I reckon you be buying yourselves a lot of passes.

TSA flies Jetstreams and E145's. With the new wts the a/c's jumpseat is worthless anyways. So you should not worry to much. Everytime I have tried to get on an E145's or a Jetstream it is always wt resticted anyways. So who cares?
