Why not just jettison them when they are empty? It worked for us in the F-111.

I can see it now if JimNTexas became an aircraft designer, thousands of farms in the midwest destroyed by jettisoned tip tanks. :p

I am sure someone will make it fit. I have heard of even wackier conversions.
 
YUP, they are GII-B's

There are just a few, you see the increase drag and weight made the extra fuel completly useless. It is a breakeven deal, same range.....

some good after-market engineering there...

I believe rolling stone used to keep one out on Long Island.

Actually both the G-IIB and G-III have winglets by Gulfstream, the G-IIsp has the Aviation Partners winglets...
