We have been having the same problem with some of our airplanes flying into Ramstein AB in Germany.

Good question.

I was flying at that time too. Pretty much flew right over where center said he was, but didn't see anything. Glad they arrested him for sure.

Also when will people learn that the plural of aircraft is aircraft?

It's hard to get into the head of a crazy person... but taking a wild stab at it I'd say they do it in order to see if they can get some sort of response such as the aircraft losing control. Probably so they can feel powerful. Felony intent for sure, reckless disregard for human life.
