Had a friend that use to work there (they have a Beechjet). He didn't have a lot of good things to say about thier Chief Pilot. Such as the crew sharing hotel rooms on overnights. From what I understand it also helps to be a Mormon to get hired with them.

I will never rent from them again after my last experience. That is all I know......

I worked for them for a total of two weeks in the reservation office one summer.. WORST job I have ever had. If you need a moving truck dont rent from UHaul, chances are when you go to pick it up they will not have one for you and it will break down halfway there......

just my 2 cents.

After being an Hot Dog airline pilot since you were what? 14? You've led a cush life and I don't think you could handle the real work of a coporate pilot....It takes a special breed Steve, a very special breed!!

BTW, I don't know much specifically about the flt dept, but U-Haul is a very disfunctional company. But hey, guess we're used to that considering who we work for.

They also operate a PC-12. The schedule was something like 1 week on 2 weeks off followed by 2 weeks on, 1 week off. Could work well for some. The information I got also indicated that the perdiem situation was less than stellar. This info is probably about 1.5 years old now, so things may have changed.
