Anyone know the type of pay Aeronautical Systems pays the UAV pilots? I believe they are a subsidy of General Atomics. Got a phone interview next week. Thanks.

If you have 1000 plus hours, I would stay away from Aeronautical Systems.
I worked there as the Air Force Gov't Flight Rep for three years.
This type of flying will do NOTHING for your career, you can't log the flight time, and after training, YOU WILL DEPLOY overseas for many days out of the year.

Defenitely something to consider. Do you know the pay? I'm interested b/c I have some debt to pay off and I think they pay for your Masters. Those are really the main reasons Im interested.

I got it from the horse' s mouth, They do NOT pay for masters. They will pay for a rating, only IF it benefits them.
Starting pay is 35-45K, you only make big money if you deploy (ie. get to live in a tent in a deployed location and possibly get shot at). If you do deploy, plan on being GONE for 6 months straight, if not longer. If you don't deploy, try living in Southern California on 35K.
