Not sure if this has been asked before but do you think the “new” United Airlines stock (UAUA) will be a good short term investment (3-9 months) ?

I understand it’ll start trading on NASDAQ on February 1st, is that correct?

Should I buy? Give me your pros and cons please!

Thanks y’all,
Sincerely, av8or

Well, based on LCCs meteoric rise, I think the same could well happen at UAUA.

Get it and watch the trades carefully. When the large blocks start getting sold off, bail!TC

Uaua Haha

No Way
Stay Away
Way Away

They restructered assuming $50 oil. So yeah I think they have a good plan buy as much as you can!

Again, I am talking about a short term investment, that’s all. I would like to repeat the success of a buddy of mine who almost tripled his $10,000 investment in the “new” USairways (LCC) before he sold his shares 6 ½ months later.

I think they start trading on the 2nd now and not on the 1st of February.

LCC has not even been around for 6 months.

I stand to gain if the stock goes up after issued but the advice that I can give is to stay away from airline stocks if you have to pay for them. Any airline.
