I just finished reading an article on UAL's quarterly loss. UAL had some interesting quotes. One being that they were only loosing 2 mil a day. To me 90 x 2,000,000 = 180,000,000. Not 1,300,000,000. Also how can one loose that much money and still be telling folks things are looking up? Is UAL making all, some or none of it's lease payment's?

never mind

Never mind. It was some journalist trying to get the story out without all the facts. UAL's daily cash burn is 2 million.

Hey, at least their stock went up today. Lose 1.3 Billion and your stock goes up? SWA announces a profit and our stock loses money.

Haven't heard much about UAL lately...it seems AMR is up to bat now. Delta's on deck (that last part was only flame bait). Actually, they (DAL) are doing fine. Disregard. Actually they are only doing half as bad as AMR.
