Just curious if any of you flying for the regional affiliates for United like Skywest, Atlantic Coast, etc have heard anything on how United's Bankrupcy will effect your airline. Are they going to change around their model with their ownership interest or fixed fee agreement? I'm curious to know the effects of their Ch. 11 protection as it evolves, since I would imagine its still too early to know most of the details for sure...

United can ask the Bankrupcy Court for any contract relief they feel necessary. Its all up to the judge.

I would think the regionals would benefit, at least in the short term. They would pick up those "unprofitable" routes that can't fill a 737, but can fill a Brazilia.

As for the contract, I don't have enough experience in that arena....
