Wasn't that contract up at that date anyway? I was under the impression that United had been removing planes from Chautauqua for a while now and adding planes to Shuttle America.

I'm remembering that's about the right time frame to end the 145 contract with UAL. The 10 new (x-fer'd from DL) 170's for the UAL side do more than cover the 7 145's. The 135 fleet (all on the DL side) is starting to leave (as sked) in Sept/Oct.
