This is Lorilee from WSAI, we ran into a snag on the UAL Layover Lounge. We have the cities set up and general info. However, we do not have hotel info.

Here is the problem:
We are setting up under the impression that you do not have access to a car on most occasions and are locating everything you need within the near vicinity of where you will be staying.
We do not want to be just a city guide. We want to eventually negotiate deals with every company listed in the Layover lounge so that flight crews will receive discounts.
This will leave more money in your pockets and allow you to use less for the daily things that you need.
We can set up by city, but this still returns us to the problem of "What if you do not have access to a vehicle." The airport locations are a breeze... everything is quite condensed. No matter where you are staying on a short, we can take care of most needs.
The long layovers are the problem.
We have bus info, map info, rental car links, current weather and time, downtown restaurants, attractions, museums, and salons just to name a few.
However, the info is laid out for the city verses a radius of location. Will this work for you?
Can you think of anything else that you would like to see in the lounge to make it more personalized for UAL only.

The goal is: when you are heading to a new city, you pop up the Layover Lounge, put in your password combo and get quick facts and city info for every city in the world. When you get there, we want to take the work out of locating everything that you will need. It is like having an online reference system at your request 24 hrs a day that is dedicated to your needs only.

We have done this for many other airlines and we have most of it down to a science. However, with this little snag we can not tailor your area to your every need.
Thus, do you have any suggestions on what would personalize the UAL Layover Lounge and tailor it to UAL needs without disclosing Long Layover locations?
Is there anything else that we could add that would make the UAL section indispensable for your crews?

Keep me posted..
