I was just on a Yahoo message board and read a post that a UA pilot got the F call today.

Furloughing 220 effective Jan. 5 & 132 (or 135?) effective Feb. 5. It appears UAL may be calling all furloughees -- Jan. & Feb. today/ASAP.

It was great while it lasted.

Sorry, folks. I'll probably be right behind you. Find a bright side to look on. I know a 777 Cap who was forloughed for several years in the early 80s. He got on with USAIR, then was fired because he wouldn't give up the UAL line number. We'll be back!
