Story...
For starters, yesterday's headline read "U.S. Soldiers Shoot Dead Cameraman." And I wondered, was he dead before or after they shot him?
And now Reuters is screaming for an investigation.
Am I warped for thinking that any reporter who chooses to enter a combat zone (and let's not kid ourselves...Baghdad is a combat zone) is on his own? We're supposed to be surprised when someone steps into the middle of a war and gets shot?
Good god, American troops have been getting ambushed out there! Under those circumstances, if someone came around a corner and pointed a shoulder-mounted piece of technology at me, I'd blow his brains out, too!
Is the media getting dumber as time goes by, or is it just me?
