Hi I am looking for some info and I know how it works here so feel free to PM me if you have any constructive thoughts. I was furloghed 6 mos ago by an LCC, the state I live in will give 1/3rd the cost of a Citation 500 rating. Are there any contract jobs or jobs period out there or will I be pissing away the 2/3 of my money.

Thanks
Dash

I don't know if there is alot of Citation jobs out there currently, but it would take a lot of $500-600 a day trips to pay for your rating. A lot of corporate outfits will hire without a type if you are the kind of guy they are looking for. I know my company is like that.

I wouldn't do it. Look at all the Citation guys on www.flycontract.com that are current and not working.

I do contract work, and it is VERY slow. SAVE SAVE save your money or better yet, spend it on some other career.
