TXANG 136th AW?

Has anyone applied to the 136th AW in Ft. Worth? Anyone have any information about the unit? I just sent off a packet, and was wondering.

I had a buddy apply there and is pledging pretty hard, he is a local guy but was told they normally only interview 5 or 6 guys. I think he said 2 of the guys the interview will be in house guys and this year it is for 1 slot. Hey chaw, I thought you were in with us reserve guys? Changing your mind? Good luck if you go.

I'm trying to go any way I can! Sounds like pretty stiff competition up there, and I have no time to rush several units at a time. My concentration is on C-5's in San Antonio.

That C-5 unit just picked up a buddy of mine who was also unsponsored on the last board like me. Dont know if they will be hiring till next year but good luck.
