1) Is it time for all the so-called "Regional Airlines" to combine forces and form their own association?

2) Would you be willing to actually put up time and $$ to see this happen?

Discuss...

That is a great idea.

Perhaps we could call it the Regional Airline Association. We could have a web address of www.raa.org and have a convention in Cincinnati this month. How does May 16th thru the 19th work for everyone?

BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Funny.

Let me ask you all this, then:

Are you a happy slave? Are you satisfied with the staus quo in the industry? Do you want to fly 90 seat jets for $65/hour because if you don't some scum-sucking bottom feeder airline will? Do you want to (continue to) allow management to gleefully (continue to) pit the different airline work groups against one another in order to attain their goals at the expense of yours?

Or do you think that if all of the "Regional" pilots were consolidated under one flag they could pull the teeth from the whipsaw? Would you pony up to see that happen?

Seriously

It's time we drop the "regional" from our name tags. As long as management can call us regional we will be treated like such. What is so regional about flying ORD to DFW, MSP to JAX, IAH to SFO, etc

It's also time for some sort of "revolution" in this industry. I'd pay to see Worthless' face if all the so called regionals turned their back on him and went on their own. As long as balding old white men are in charge the little fellers like us will never be heard.
