hi
how do the different turbo props( dash 8, atr, dornier, saab 340/2000, J31,etc...) compare in terms of reliability and ops costs?

have some patience. you only waited 3 hours.

I've flown both Pratts and Garretts in Ag ops, and I can definitely say the Pratt has the advantage as far as reliability is concerned, but the maintainance costs are higher. The Garrett engines have far less moving parts in the rotating assembly, so you would think they would have the advantage reliability wise, but that's not been the case in my experience.
