Good Luck

I was in BNA today coming home and I was in causal clothes with my tennis shoes on. The A-hole TSA guy made me tak e them off so they could scan them. So it isn't going to matter what shoes you are wearing they are going to make you take them off anyway. This bonehead said it was a new directive. I can't wait until they get rid of these a-holes. The sooner the better. Instead of 6000 by September it should be 60,000. Just my two cents. I am sick of dealing with these knuckleheads.

Oh yeah did you see the article about the TSA's spending out in CO somewhere at the resort they claimed to be staying at while recruiting people to stand around and piss of flight crews and the taxpayers.

Got to love the TSA.

Florshiem shoes don't have a shank. I think teh TSA guys get inluted when I walk right though and don't beep.

i commute out of BNA and i have never had anyone say that to me. personally i think some are just full of #$%^ so they don't have to wand you....

I just got back yesterday from a vacation. Heres what happened as far as shoes go: Denver International Airport 6/3: everyone was required to take off shoes and have them sent through the machine, But at Springfield-Branson Regional 6/10 They let me wear them but did wand them down. I asked the TSA guy there about it and he said it varies by airport.

Be sure to specifically ask if they are "requesting" or "requiring" your shoes to come off. At IND this week they asked me to take them off, I responded point blank "Did you say request or require?" She responded "request" I said "They will be fine" and walked right on through. Ditto for the smaller airports visited this week.
