I am wondering what my options are. Got a bill today for 600 bucks from trans mistakes. I was furloughed after only three and half months. I don't remember signing anything that said I would pay for the uniform even if my employment was terminated.

Anyone have any idea if they can make me pay it. I ordered the uniform with the expectation of continued employment. They did not continue to employ me so I think they should eat the cost.

Any other furloughs not pay the rest of the uniform?

Thanks. Gota luv gayjets.

Were you recalled?

I was recalled a few months later. To me that really is not the point. No reasonable person would go two months without a job. Considering none of us had anyway to know that it would only last two months. So we had to be proactive and find new employment. Had to pay the mortgage.

I should edit my origanal post to say I expected continuous employment, just like I was told in the interview.

If you still have the uniform, I'd just mail it in, and write "paid in full" on the bill along with it.
