Anybody who has gone through the FFDO program; could you please post information about the application procces...
 
Can anyone post any first hand application experiences...
Let's see...4 total posts on the board and you want to know about FFDO proceedures...damb dude, either you are like the world's laziest terrorist or you are just plain _______. "fill in the blank"

I've given you what you need to get started. Many parts of this program are still classified, so you're probably not going to have any luck getting details on this board.

If you are in fact a captain at a large airline like your bio suggests, you probably have several pilots who have already gone through the program. Ask around.

Haven’t run across anybody at my company who is a FFDO...

This is a big surprise to me as my company is approved for the program

Apparently. And since you're such a "cival" person and all, I'm sure that you'll be completely understanding when we wonder why the he!! the TSA would give a gun to a "pilot" who can't spell to the level of a third grader.

Allied Pilots Security Alliance

Check the "fine print" links at the top of the page and you may find the info you're looking for.

APSA tends to be publicly negative toward the program in it's present state (not perfect), but they do important work toward improving it.

The FFDO program is worth participating in and there is hope of program improvement with time and more pilot numbers involved.
