STL and RIC will stay the only pilot bases even after the United Express flying starts out of ORD and IAD. The only way I see any more bases would be ORD if TSA gets a ton of planes going out of there- I'd guess at least 20 to get a crew base, but then again I wouldn't be surprised if twice that didn't get a new crew base. Comair seems to do OK with only one crew base and a lot more flying diversity. TSA is cheap, cheap, cheap and until it costs a lot more to avoid opening a new crew base, I don't see it happening.
