Troops given the go date
ABC Radio News | 3/15/03
(1:00 pm EST 3/15/03) ABC Radio News can report that U.S. Troops in the Persian Gulf have been given the go date for hostilities against Iraq to start. It is reported that ground and air troops are to go to war at the same time. The ABC source said that G-day (Go Day) has been communicated to all allied commanders in the area.
ABC Radio News sources have learned that hostilities could begin as soon as this Wednesday.
