We've used it in the past as a comparison to trips we're already planning to fly. On occassion, we'll use it to justify a decision on use / rejection of using the corporate aircraft. However, the information you enter, salaries, productivity, drive times, etc., is only as good as your estimates. Rarely will you get the info on the CEO's salary, not to mention just about anyone elses. Especially true when flying for a private individual or corporation. We "estimate" a typical salary for cost purposes. How close we are only a few in the company know, but I'd say our estimates are fairly accurate as the info we get off Travel$ense is well received.
It's also great for running year end reports, but you have to use it for EVERY trip you do in order to get the proper info.
Some downsides to the software, which NBAA has improved since v1.0, are flying multiple legs, international travel and a few other charges.
