Does anyone know... if one is called for an interview with Aloha, do they fly you out there, or is it your expense to get to Honolulu?

Just curious, because my last employer took my ID when I got furloughed. Can't jumpseat.

back in the old days.....

When I interviewed a couple years back, they had me fly out on my own dime. No biggie as I had an ID. One of our guys that just got hired and had been furloughed was able to convince management to give him a space available pass out of YVR. You should be able to get that no problem....

AQ Interview

Aloha had me travel on my own dime! Same w/ a few other guys in my class. Good luck and do you have an interview date already?

Aloha,

AQ interview

How close to their mins have they been hiring at? Is the ATP a MUST have? Preference to locals at all? I'd love to get back home and fly again...

I think ATP is a must-have everywhere these days even if not published. At Aloha, the official mins are ATP+1000 multi, and a minimum of 60 college credit hours. AQ has been really good to all of us coming from Island Air, but everyone still had to meet those mins so that leads me to believe that those are set in stone.

Good luck!
