We fly King Airs and Beechjets for charter-management.
Generally speaking, with more than 3 days of 'non-flying days' scheduled for a trip, we'll airline home. Current schedules and staffing leveling will change that policy. They have also allowed us to airline home during holidays.
We usually find the least expensive tickets. Always coach. The few times we fly internationally, we will reposition the airplane to the States and airline from the AOE.
Airlining to meet an airplane is my least favorite part of this job.
