2 years ago I was hired by a commuter airline. At that time I didn’t succeed I failed the basic indoc test. I was given the option to resign or get fired. I resigned and stated a letter to the company saying that it was for personal reasons. I left that company and for the last 2 years I been working outside the aviation field. In the last month I sent my resume to some companies and I interview with one last week.
My friend told me not to say anything about that company.
I need your help,
I never mention that I was hired by that company.
Will these new company find out about my failure on that other company?
Does every airline release those records to the FAA?
Even that I resigned.
Please guys I need your advice I got some other interviews coming up
Should I mention about my failure these other companies?

please guys help me I need your advice.

Airlines are required to keep information about their employees under the Pilot Records Information Act (PRIA) passed by Congress back in the mid 1990's. Your Basic Indoc final, if you failed, was recorded as an UNSAT on their training records.

If the company you are interested in working for requests a PRIA release from you, which they are required by FARs to do, they will see the UNSAT for Basic Indoc and/or an Incomplete for the Basic Indoc class.

What to do? Tell the truth--- Situation, Action, Result. Tell them why you think you unsated, how you have improved since then, and how you are a better pilot because of it. Be positive, and don't dwell on the negative aspects.

If you don't say anything or lie about it, when they do find out, you could be terminated for falsifying information or not telling them about it when they asked.

Best wishes,

I know of guys in your situation that lost their jobs because of a failure to disclose working for a carrier where they did not fly
