Which ACMI companies provide accomodation AND training pay during initial and IOE? I've searched this but have only come up with info on Kalitta. Wondering bout SA, Gemini, ATI or North American on the pax charter side.

I know it sounds like a short-sighted way of choosing who to apply with- but I've got mouths to feed back home. BTW- they're used to me being gone - I just need to send a check home now and then. Thanx.

Last I heard World pays 250.00/week and 56.00/day perdium. First year pay starts after your Q LOFT.....Good Luck

Is training for World in ATL? Sim in MIA? who pays for the hotel, company or the new hire?

thanks for the info

ATI provides the hotel during training, and transportation to and from the hotel and the training facility, all in DAY. The same vehicle is available to go out for chow and whatever, but it's shared with everyone in your class and possibly with others there for recurrent, etc. You get $500 pay every two weeks. I don't think there is any per diem on top of that - per diem and first year pay won't start until after your PC. ATI doesn't provide transportation to the interview, but I don't know offhand if they provide transportation to class once you've been hired. We're not hiring or interviewing at the moment, but that may change soon so watch www.airtransport.cc for updates.

World - 1200/month training pay + per diem (about 1800/mo tax free). Hotels paid for by company. Indoc in ATL, MD11 sim in ATL and DC10 in MEM. Instructors in MEM have rental cars and can drive you around to the store and such.

50 bucks a day at GAC, Hotel paid in IAD and wherever you wind up for sim. You get a rental car for the sim too. line pay (min guar) starts when you pass your PC

I would agree for the 11 side of the house. Each crew gets a car once they hit the FTDs and SIM stateside. I don't know about the Helsinki training.

The 10 guys do not get a rental car when in training.

I can add to that since they just told me what to expect for ATI. You do get per diem and the training pay. They said about 1900 a month during training, before taxes on the training pay I guess. They are arranging the travel there to start class, and hotel of course. -batfish

Full pay the first day, no training pay

USA Jet full line pay the first day of GS, which works out to $700 wk on the DA-20 and $800 week for the DC-9, plus a $300 per-diem advance the first week of Ground School. Also 15 days in a hotel while getting a local place to live, since YIP is our only base. Company pays for hotel and gives per-diem of $1.83/hr while away from YIP for training. Not bad for an on-demand place

I was in the first class to get Full Pay from Day 1, and it was a great surprise. I wish more carriers would follow suit!
