I'm interested in flying for some of the fractionals out there & was wondering, does NetJets have a training contract? What about Flex, Flight Ops & Citation Shares? Thanks for the info.

Thanks for the info. I'm applying to some 121 carriers as well as a few fractionals & just wondered what would happen if I was hired to my #1 choice of a major after I was in training at a fractional. I DO NOT want to burn any bridges in this industry. Thanks again!

Nooooo of course the company isn't going to be mad after they spend a bunch of money training you not only for the aircraft but company indoc, uniforms, FOM, blackberry.... the list goes on and on.

They don't have a training contract because they expect you to be a man and accept the job with the expectation that you stay and work.

If you don't want the job apply somewhere else. There are a lot of people that would gladly take your place.

You sound like an honest guy, so heres the honest answer. Apply to that #1 Dream Job and wait for a response. If you dont get it, pick #2 Dream Job and repeat step one.

I think any viable company like NetJets is looking for long term employees. If you just need a job to stay current and hang out at... Try Mesa or G*Jets. They could care less if you walk off the job in the middle of a LGA turn.

Best of Luck.

ahhh wolfy is so much more diplomatic

Of course all that being said...

Most pilots who get hired at NJA and move on do so for Quality Of Life (QOL)reasons... re the domicile debacle.

Newhires are forced to report to work at one of 5 locations and even then there are restrictions on moving from Dom to Dom. It's pretty much hogwash.

I could hardly blame a pilot for leaving NJA for QOL reasons because he/she doesn't have acces to the HBA system. I can't blame them at all for leaving NJA once they get here and then discover that the story told to them in the interview of LIFE AT NJA ain't exaaaaaaaaactly the same version they heard.

$$$ is one of the few things NJA management understands... let them leave if it makes them happy.

Maybe when NJA loses ebough money to retraining pilots they will reconsider the Domicile Debacle.

IF you know its going to be a hardship then why is it the companies fault/responsability to be the test case.

If you have doubts don't take the job. If you do take the job man up and put your days work in.

I think what it boils down to. If a pilot comes here with an honest idea that they are going to stay and then finds out its different thats a different story.

But... if a pilot comes here knowing that they are going to leave soon.... and take advantage of not having a training contract.... well thats not right.

You're really good at stating the obvious!
