Yes, many (most) new hires will be going to JFK for a little while anyway.


Reserve time will depend on your base. Right now, reserve is running 18-24 months but that will decrease. Some new hires going to JFK will get a line right away.

Got an interview with just under 2300 TT, 1800 multi, and 1100 turbine. Current 121 job.

Haven't interviewed yet, so I couldn't tell you anything about what others have.

Who knows if JFK will be a good base or not. The base opens on August 1st and the initial lines haven't been made public yet.

If anything, winter should provide an extra few hours of taxi time each month.

I've walked a couple resumes in and it's been taking 3-4 weeks for a call back. They are pretty swamped right now.

A friend of mine gave mine to the CP? or someone from HR when they where down back in april. Couple weeks later got the call but had to ask for a later date because of the bionic neck and total lack of currency.

BTW anyone know if they want a magic # of hours in the last 90 days?

Most of the guys at the interview were academy guys, with a couple 135, and 2 other 121 guys.

Total times were all over the place.

The interview itself is a good experience. You won't regret going no matter which letter you get. This was the 4th airline I interviewed with, and by far the most fun, and personable.

Anyone hear from the interviews the week of June 6th yet? As OPEC said very professional interview and an awesome SOCC.

From what was said during the company overview Buttrel(sp) wants CMR to grow in the next 5 years and is very responsive to the needs of ALL the employees. Happy employees equals a happy workforce and better service to the customer. That is a great idea in todays us vs them management style.

A guy I work with interviewed on Tuesday and was called late yesterday afternoon/night with a class date. Me I'm just chewing on my fingernails and popping antiacid pills.

Its is a cognitative abilities test wannabe...in other words a psychometric battery.

Has anyone that interviewed on the 9th recieved a phone call or letter yet?(PM me if you wish) I called a buddy of mine that is in training at CMR and he said I should call the cell phone# for Gilmer since it's been a week and I haven't heard anything....

I interviewed on the 8th. Got turned down. I wouldn't read anything into it though. I understand it can take that long to get the good letter as well.
