Anybody know who does traffic in SLC? I know that KSL claims to have an "eye in the sky." I have talked to some people at the KSL offices and nobody seems to know anything about it, but I have heard they do use a small aircraft for it. Does anyone have any contact info for other places that may be doing this?

Thanks.

If you PM me I can give you some info. You should know that the pilots don't get paid and that there is a list of people waiting to fly for free. I turned it down.

Probably just some guy on a freeway overpass with some beer and a cell phone.

I built my first 1500 hours in SLC, and I will say the same thing I said when I had 300 hours. Anyone that does that traffic sh!t for free is a scum bag. You do a job, you should get paid for it.

Uh, they want me to work for free? No way. That's ridiculous. I know there's probably a long line of people willing to do it, but how much money can they really save by not paying the pilots? What a joke.

SLC traffic flying is done from Bountiful Skypark (BTF) I think. The pilots are not paid. Both channel 5 and Channel 2 have helicopters based there as well.
