Anyone on here fly for Tradewinds Aviation based out of Waterford, MI?

why is that. I was looking at working for the corporate division

Thats odd that they are going outside of the flight instructor ranks to fill this position. The pres of the company is a little hard to deal with at times, but if you absolutely need a job then apply, but i think i'd wait for somthing more appealing.

Vote for Pedro!

Would you happen to know the pay range? How about the schedule? and yes I do need a job. Thanks for the info

Sup man! be careful what you ask on this site. Its not a career company...just a steeping stone! you will work your a$$ off.

Add to that, that some of their clientele are horrendous. I used to fly for a charter company that did a lot of backup for Tradewinds and I would say about 50% of the customers were asses, a lot more than other places. In fact several clients were kicked out of other places for their behavior, and that has got to be pretty bad.

Tradewinds

Tradewinds is a great company to work for! The clients, unlike the above mentioned, are easy to work with and understand the effort each pilot is putting into each and every flight that leaves the ramp. As I can see, you have already looked beyond what outsiders think of the company. This is coming from someone inside the company and I love what I do, the people I work with and the equipment I fly.

Good luck and maybe we'll see you around.

I would like a chance to check out the operation. I have my application in and have talked to an HR lady (very nice). She said that they would be calling people for interviews soon. I am not sure I will get one or not but we shall see.
