With the rescent crash of the 402 in Texas, there are alot of people that are collecting thoughts and prayers.

Im thinking along the same lines as Timebuilder stated, but what I was thinking was for the pilot for the 402.

There is a post on the board that stated his wife is expecting soon, if this is true, maybe some of us can do something for her, a fund, kind words, anything.

It sounds like some people knew him from the FBO's, flightline, or the frequency.

Im 29, married with a 2 year old girl. I can only imagine what it must be like for the family. Im just thinking off the top of my head.

I have lost close freinds and co-workers in the past in aviation, but when people get together and remember things about that person, share stories about them, it puts a different light on it. Avbug rescently posted that you dont remember the person on how they died, but how they lived, I coudnt aggree more.

Here we all are looking into a monitor typing away, anonomous, with lots of thoughts and prayers for the family, maybe we can collect them for the people that need it.

Is it appropriet?

Any other ideas?

If we can get this up and running quickly, this could be our first family to receive assistance.

I hope the technical hurdles and hoops can be cleared ASAP.

I'm in. Great idea folks. Let's forget scope, furlough's, bankruptcy, and all the other perks of the biz and lend a hand to someone who has REALLY lost something. I could use a re-perspectiving of sorts anyway.

Who new this family??? What can we do? Let's get it rolling!!!!

I have a family member that is a lawyer. Perhaps I could convince her to help set up a trust fund or something like that... PM me.
