Hey man, just make sure you go to newegg.com! A bit cheaper than from apple and shipping is quick and cheap! I picked mine up in Nov. and I have never put it down!

I'm still trying to pick out the relevance of this thread.

A 46 year old with an IPOD. . . .playing it in the airplane . . . .wearing a backpack. . . . I don't get why that strikes you as odd.

Yes, IPODS are new and theoretically only young people should have them. Yes, anyone that wears a backpack to the airport and is an airline pilot belongs in the toolshed. But, people do it and old people have IPODS.
