Hey guys, I work in crew services at the mothership at CMH (which means I also work close with scheduling and crew planning). I just wanted to say that a lot of people are worried about what the next few months will bring. I know I can't speak for everybody, but i wanted to extend a personal Thank You to all your hard work and dedication (and thanks for the pizza a couple of weeks ago because of the IJet outtage!)

I've had many many NJA pilots tell me that they would NEVER work in crew services for all of the money in the world just because of what we have to put up with. To be honest, it's not that bad. All of the pilots seem to have a professional attitude and I've never really had a problem with any of you. My philosophy is that if I keep the pilot happy, the crew will keep the customer happy, and that is the bottom line isn't it?

So once again, thanks. I’ll be anxiously biting my fingernails for the next few months…

No need to bite those nails, promises have already been made that there will be NO layoff of staff in the event of a work action.
We appreciate the support and hope for a swift and fair finish to the negotiations.

Thanks for the support IFlyOU.....just remember that its not you guys the company would love to get rid of.....Its us pilots who are refusing to bow to their ridiculous demands.

NetJets claims to be the biggest and best in the Fractional industry...now its time to live up to those claims and starting paying their professional pilots accordingly. Once we get the money due us I'm sure they are going to be forced to pay you folks in the Casino what you are truely worth.

It seems everyone in the trenches for this company is grossly underpaid......and that has got to STOP. The upcoming results in the next few months are going to be felt throughout the industry. History is going to be made. This will either be a place to hang your hat or we are going to turn the Fractionals just another stepping-stone to no where. Just one notch above the Regionals....barely.

Hang tough!!!!!!

I must agree,

most at NJ like the job and try their best - for the crew and customer. Even if we were told no layoffs Im still nervous. Its not that I don't believe it, its human nature. Ive even checked the unemployment page of Ohio.

Cool heads will prevail here (even after so many years at this). Its been a while since I have heard "Ill close this place down" and I thank you guys for that. I will endeavor not to get into any flame war here

DO-82 driver-
Thanks for the comment about our pay but Ill be dead honest to ya - we are not that "under paid" as you say. Add in all the great benefits that NJ gives us (401k, medical at zero cost) and we make out just fine. Its the total package that counts. The turnover is far less than other places Ive worked.

Every year the whole "casino" gets better at what we do. Id like to keep that up.

great perks like pizza :)

Never take these things personally. It is true, however, from an outside perspective (I don't work for NJA) that NJA pilots are among the worst paid for their aircraft types in the industry. It's a FACT. Time for Warren to wake up - the collective bargaining joke has gone on too long and it is time for change... Would you want disgruntled employees actually facing the customer each day?

I-R,
I respect your opinion on the pay issue, though I do not agree with it. The total package is the important issue and each person must make their decision based on their personal, family needs. Pay MUST go up for all. F/O's qualifying for Food Stamps is not acceptible.....When the competition can start their Captains off at the same pay that our 6 year Captains make something must be done.

I'm not looking to become a millionaire here.....I just want a wage and working conditions that allow for me and my family to be more than "just comfortable".

Time will tell......5 years ago we were losing 10-20 pilots per month to the airlines...that has slacked off entirely. People are being forced to consider employment with NetJets for the long haul. It appears managemt has a different opinion concerning our desire to stay here long term.

Good luck to all you NJ guys! I hope you strike and screw the hell out of Mr Buffet! He needs to pay you what you're worth and treat you right! We'll all be with you!

Thanks for your support and hard-work. I like your philosophy, SWA has a similar one and the results are a successful/profitable airline. I wish that idea would work its way up the chain-of-command.
Regards..

IFlyOU,

Thanks for your dedication and hard work in the casino, it doesn't go unnoticed. Same thing can be said for dispatch, they do a great job and seem to be understaffed at times. Our fight is with management, not the employees that work hard for the company. You have an open invitation to visit our website at http://www.asapflightdeck.com/ . There is an employee section designed just for you.

IXR... what the hell are you smoking?? Are you serious? I'm not sure if you really work for NJA or are management. If you really think that then please keep it to yourself. Please look at the latest NBAA salary survey. A 401k and medical certainly doesn't pay my mortgage. these are benefits that most large companies provide.
If you are an NJA pilot please call your P2P rep and/or an MEC member and get the real deal. You are in for an awakening.
