For all of those on the list, I would like to start a thread as to where everyones #1 base choice would be after we finish training. Remember your choices are: DAL HOU OAK PHX MDW BWI MCO.

Falcon1= HOU

I'll have a beer for yall this weekend down in the BIG EASY @ PARDI GRAS!!

DAL is first, but since thats going to take a while: MDW or MCO

PHX or DAL out of training won't happen. Choosing from the remaining I'll go with OAK. Planning on commuting from SEA'

I at least gotta dream! Living in DAL, I think I will try to commute to MDW.
Does anyone know of an easier commute from DAL or DFW?

Base Preference ?

Commuting out of ATL so MCO would be great. Second choice BWI. Third MDW.

From Oklahoma

Hey All,

I would like DAL because I live 2-1/2 hours away. But I know that won't happen for a while. Next choice is MDW. Our class at HPA was told that Kansas City or Las Vegas may be a new base. Anyone heard anything about this? Best wishes to all. Fly safe!

SWA Bases

For me: OAK or PHX, I'll be trying the commute out of Boise, Idaho. By the way if Vegas opens up make that my number one choice.

New guy on the block here....

Hoping for OAK or BWI.

Anybody know if, and if so how long SWA gives you to move? I plan to live where I'm based, but I need to move at some point. Thanks in advance!

DAL would be my choice, MDW is probably what I'll try for. OAK and MCO would be hard commutes for me from Little Rock, but the others would be OK. My copilot on my type ride was a Houston F/O, and she said she had only been with the company for 4 months...

Viva Las Vegas

#1. LAS
#2. PHX

Chicago, Chicago

After a year and half of flying out of O'Hare, Midway's gonna look like a postage stamp. I'm gonna LUV it though!

#1. MDW
#2. BWI
#3. MCO

Commuting from ONT (So. Cal.)...

I'd like OAK or PHX. Seniority will likely be better out of OAK, so that'd be fine. However, I understand the crashpad situation is non-existent in "Stokeland." MDW would be third pick... been there, done that, crashpads are definitely available, Mr. C's is within stumbling.. uh I mean walking distance.

Hey Canyonblue, you'll like MDW... Compared to ORD, it's a postage stamp alright... try to put it down well within the touchdown zone!!;) Oh, and have fun at "Mr. C's!!"

The jball rolls to

1. BWI
2. MDW
3. MCO

Hey Ultra- commuting to MCO from ATL is impossible without the actual jumpseat being open to offline pilots. EVERY flight to MCO is Full. there are 25 chances a day though!

Another ATL COMMUTER

Da Best in Da (south) West
