I would agree with you had UAL MGT. done anything other then take money from the employees. Really all they did was threaten to take the retirement if they did not get all the cuts that they wanted, then they took the retirements anyway. Anybody, even a $200k Walmart MGR. could have done this. This is not even an original idea. Same game that US AIR played. Now for the worst part, UAL MGT. payed an obscene amout of money for advise to "consultants" to give them this plan. This is kind of like if someone hired you to cut a lawn and payed you $1,000. Then you turned around and hired a lawn company to come in do the job and charged the property owner another $10,000. Sounds like a scam to me.
 
No mention of the industry leading pay contract of 2000 as part of UAL problems?
 
United could be ch 7 now. (of course that's exactly a lot on this board would have loved to see). Sorry to disappoint you boys.
