You stop sending money and aid to Israel and what happens? The much larger, richer, and more populace Arab states will attempt to push them into the sea. Israel will fight back. The Arabs, despite horrendous losses, will eventually start making gains. Israel has to accept genocide of its own people (again) or use nuclear weapons upon their enemies. Then..........
We have a responsibility to Israel. We, along with the much of Europe, returned them to the Holy Land following WW II and the Holocaust. Probably not our wisest move to put Israel smack dab in the middle of hostile nations and rekindle several millenia of religious conflict but it is done. We can not turn our back on them, especially now that Europe (with the exception of Israel's Muslim ally Turkey) has chosen to support the Palestinians.
